In the event of a biological disaster, the Office of
Homeland Security recommends SHELTER IN PLACE. Listed below are
tips to improve your margin of safety:
•Shelter In Place means, Stay Indoors
•Shut all doors and windows
•Cover cracks along doors and windows with duct tape or towels
•Go to the room in your house with the fewest doors and windows
•Turn off all heating and air conditioning systems that circulate air
•Tune your radio to KYW 1060 AM for further instructions
•Stay inside your home until told you can leave
