SERVICES
POLICE PROTECTION: Police protection is
provided by the West Chester Police Department under a municipal
agreement between the Borough of West Chester and East Bradford
Township. Under this agreement the department provides East Bradford
Township 24 hour a day, 7 day a week police protection. It also
provides the services of the Dispatch, Criminal Investigation
Division, Juvenile Officer, Community Relations Office and Records
Office. If you ever have a concern please do not hesitate to contact

FIRE PROTECTION: Fire and rescue protection
is provided by the West Chester Fire Companies and West Bradford Fire
Company depending on your location within the Township. All fire
fighters are volunteers within these companies. These organizations
rely upon your contributions and the Township's support to supply the
necessary fire protection to your property. Please support their
fund-raising efforts or consider becoming a volunteer.
AMBULANCE SERVICE: Ambulance service is
provided by Good Fellowship Ambulance Club (West Chester) and Minquas
Ambulance (Downingtown), supplemental emergency care Paramedic
services are also provided by Chester County Hospital Paramedics and
Minquas Ambulance Service. In case of emergency the proper ambulance
will be dispatched. Please support these ambulance companies in their
fund drives.
WATER SERVICE: Residents of East Bradford
Township use either individual wells or are served by a public water
system. Public water is provided by AquaPA and they may be contacted
by calling 1-877-987-2782.
SEWAGE SERVICE: Residents of East Bradford
Township use either individual on lot sewage systems, community sewer
systems or are served by the East Bradford Township sewer system.
Questions about the public sewer system should be directed to the
Township Office, billing questions should be directed to Berkheimer
Outsoursing who does the billing and collection of sewer user fees for
the Township (866-300-1714). Beginning in 2005 all properties with on-lot
septic systems are required to have their system inspected and pumped
every three years. Click

CABLE TV: Cable TV is available to most
areas of the Township by contacting Comcast Cable TV or Verizon Fios. East Bradford
Township while identified as a franchise authority is not certified to
regulate cable rates under the FCC regulations.
LIBRARY SERVICES: the Chester County Library
System and the West Chester Public Library provide Library services.
The Chester County District Library Center is located at 400 Exton
Square Parkway, next to the Exton Square Mall, Exton. The West Chester
Public Library is located at 415 North Church Street, West Chester.
The Township contributes to both libraries annually.
