The M. John Johnson Nature Center is a 23-acre preserve managed for public trail use by East Bradford Township with the support and collaboration of the West Chester Fish, Game and Wildlife Association. Parking is available on Skelp Level Road just north of the Route 322 intersection. The public may utilize the multi-use paved trail to access the adjacent Sugar's Bridge Nature Area trails. Bikes in the M. John Johnson Nature Center are allowed on the paved trail but prohibited on the natural trails. The preserve is privately owned by PECO Energy and visitors are asked to obey all posted park rules. The preserve has been named after M. John Johnson, a longtime resident of East Bradford Township and past President of the West Chester Fish, Game and Wildlife Association.

Directions

From West Chester: Take Route 322 west towards Downingtown. Make a right on Skelp Level Road (PECO substation will be on your left). The Parking area is immediately on your left, at the intersection of Skelp Level Road and Route 322.

From Downingtown: Take Route 322 east towards West Chester Borough. Make a left on Skelp Level Road (PECO substation will be on your right). The Parking area is immediately on your left, at the intersection of Skelp Level Road and Route 322.
