STEWARDSHIP ASSESSMENTS
A stewardship assessment catalogs the current uses and conditions of a property’s natural resources and supplies recommendations on how to maintain and preserve the property going forward. The Township has worked with Natural Lands to prepare stewardship assessments for several of its parks. Click here to view the stewardship assessments completed to date.
EASEMENTS
The majority of the Township’s parklands and open spaces are under formal conservation easement to ensure their long-term protection. The Brandywine Conservancy, Natural Lands, and the North American Land Trust all hold easements on East Bradford parkland. These local land trusts also conserve nearby lands through private purchases and conservation easements.
