LOCATION

West Chester, PA 19380

DESCRIPTION

This park was named after former teacher Jane I. Reed who taught at the one room Copeland School and East Bradford Elementary School after it was built in the late 1950’s.  Ms. Reed was very interested in nature and often took her students to this area to teach them about nature.  The park consists of an open field adjacent to East Bradford Elementary School and the Peter W. Orr Nature Trail through the woods.  The Trail is named after the longtime chairman of the Parks & Recreation Board Peter Orr who retired in 2012 after 20+ years of service. Parking is in the school parking lot.
